A dream is a wish your heart makes...

... From the moment I became a mother I had always wished for the chance to take my children too Disneyland...
... Here we are in front of our hotel awaiting for the shuttle too take us to the most magical place on earth, my dream come true.

...Horses

...Jake and Cameron getting ready too ride DUMBO.

...Samantha, Logan and I getting ready too ride DUMBO, this is what I had been waiting for, this moment in time.

...and this moment, Jake and Samantha in front of The Seven Dwarfs house.

...Twirling, twirling and twirling some more in a blue tea-cup.

...But this, this is it, the MOST magical moment of the entire Disneyland trip. Making Samantha's DREAM come true. Meeting Snow White, getting too have Snow White sign her Princess book and then also getting too...

...show Snow White how old she is, in her very own Snow White Dress.

...also meeting Her, Princess Jasmine.

...and Her, Princess Aurora.

...Disneyland would not be complete without a visit to Pixie hollow to visit
Iridessa, and of course,

...Tinker Bell.
Samantha practiced and practiced that pose so that when she meet Tink she would know exactly what to do.

...This is how Logan was the entire time, just a long for the ride.

...Cute Cameron in his Micky Mouse shirt, he was in Heaven.

...On the boat ride.

...Also on the boat ride.

...Front and Center at the Parade.
This was amazing, we got to see float after float of all the Disney characters and Santa.
Then at the end of the parade we saw Fireworks over Snow Whites Castle and it even snowed.
Defiantly a Dream Come True.

A Mom and her boy's...

...enjoying fall.

The grass may still be green, but all around us are the sights and smells of fall. Someone is burning leaves, the apple tree is heavy with red balls of juiciness ready to be baked in a pie, and the temperature cries out to revel in its coolness. Even the grasshoppers are lazy and don't mind being poked by the chubby little fingers of my 2 year old.

Fall is my favorite. Sammie bounces into pre-school every Tuesday and Thursday in her new school shoes, leaving me time with just my boys. I realize how much of my time is spent focusing on Sam. She's a talker. Cameron is not.

The difference is most apparent in the drive to pre-school, verses the drive home. Occasionally, on the way home, I hear the word "truck" or "dog" from the backseat with just me and the boys. When Sam is in the car there is a constant chatter about shopping, babies and kitty cats. Having her in school has helped me rediscover my boys.

Jake came home from hunting today and after 6 days of roaming the Uintahs, he is ready to be home. Stories of horses, bugling elk and campfires will be the main subject at the dinner table for a few weeks. Jake can't wait to hear his boys talk about hunting with their dad.

But as for right now, they are still mine. We get to rock on the porch, roll in the grass and relish the fun of fall together. There's nothing like the great out doors with a 2 year old exploring all it has to offer.

My Goledn Birthday!

On September 26th, I turned 26 years young.
I had such a fun birthday week that I feel so bad posting about it so late, but better late than never.
My week started out with this...

a new camera just for me. Its even purple and I love it. Thank you mom and dad.
Later that week Jake and I went here...

for some yummy Italian food, BIRTHDAY SHOPPING, and a movie.

This little guy got to come with us, because he goes where ever mommy goes...

I just love that face of his, he was the best little date I have ever had.
The week ended with an Olive Garden Girl's night dinner, women's conference and just being with my family.
When I was little I always thought about my 'Golden Birthday' and what kind of party I would have, I never thought that I would have three children, a beautiful home, a loving husband of 5 years and just pure satisfaction for where my life is now.

Guess Who Is 2...

...Cameron is That's Who
We had a wonderful weekend celebration for Cameron's Second Birthday.
Thank you so much to everyone who came to celebrate in his honor.
We love you bubu and are so happy you are a part of this family.
Cameron could care less about opening gifts if there is sand around and something to dig in it with. Blowing out the candles on his caterpillar cake, that G.G. made for him.

We finally got him to open one gift, light sabers from Aubrey, Mike, Erin and the kids...

...and boy was he happy to have those.
My cute little toddler. I sure do love this boy more than you will ever know.

He really does LOVE those light sabers. He could hardly wait for Aubrey to get them open.

What I never want to forget about you at age TWO...

How much you love your frog blanket. You always want your blanket and you always know where it is, the car, the washer or in your crib.

The way you talk or don't talk. You can and know how to talk very well, but you just choose not to talk.

The way you like to be on your own, not much of a people person, just like your dad.

Your red hair, I mean carrot orange hair and all the many compliments I get about how cute my little red head is.

The way you snuggle bug mom and dad when you are tired.

Your calming demeanor

How much you love your many Grandma's and Grandpa's as well as your G.G's

Your friendship with Samantha.

How you love to swing and swing and swing.

I love you bubu, Happy 2nd Birthday.
