~Summer Vacation~

~Summer Vacation~ I am so excited to finally have gotten the pictures from our summer vacation that Jake, Sammie and I were able to go on. We spent 3 wonderful days going through Yellow Stone National Park, visiting my Grandparents in Montana and just watching Samantha explore, explore and explore some more.

Here is Jake, Samantha and I in front a huge tree root that was in front of our condo at Henry's Lake. And yes I am 7 months Pregnant. Here Samantha is playing in Henry's Lake. You can tell she is just so happy. She loves to run and get messy. I can still remember her coming up to me saying "mess". Oh, she makes me laugh and she really did have so much fun.
I love this picture of Samantha, her eyes and lips just kill me. She is so beautiful.

This is the trail that went from our condo down to the lake, Sammie would just run up and down it laughing and smelling every flower she past.Sammie playing in the bushes on "her" trail. I LOVE that she is so happy.

Here is Jake and Sammie in Yellow Stone Park. If you look behind Jake there is 3 tan spots, those were Elk that were bedded down in that little island. Jake and Sammie are looking at a cute little yearling Elk that was up waling around.

Jake was most excited for this trip because he was going to get to go fishing at his "secret pond" that he hadn't been too for years. Here he is in his fishing boat. I think if I would have told Jake this wasn't Heaven he wouldn't have believed me. He truly does love the outdoors.

Here is Samantha throwing rocks into Jake's "secret pond". We did this for about 2 hours while Jake was fishing. There was not one rock left on that shore bank when Samantha left.

The car ride home, Sammie waving bye, bye to all the fun she had had, in her sleep.

We had so much fun and the best part of it was that we were able to share part of this trip with my dad. Him and Jake went fishing together on Henry's Lake and then my dad took us up to his parents house and then we went and walked around down town. Thanks Dad for making this trip so much fun and for letting the three of us join you on your yearly fishing trip. I would also like to thank Jake for taking me up to Yellow Stone. Jake and I have been up there every year sense we meet. That was our 4Th trip up there and I love it more every time we go. This is a tradition that we just happen to make, that is one of my favorites. And if you need to know how often Old Faithful goes off just ask Jake, he knows.

TICKLE-ME-ELMO

OHHHHHHHH YES BABY!!!!

I did it. My blog is finally up to date. I have music, a blog counter as well as my family and friends URLs (is that what its called)? Who cares I did it oh, and I changed my BACKGROUND and this is what like my 3rd or 4Th post of the day. Wow, I truly am a professional blogger now. Thanks all to my little sister Lauren who made me feel like an idiot for not knowing how to do any of this, and yet I figured it all out on my own. Thanks LaLa, I really do love you and this really is so much fun. If it were not midnight YOU all know I would be calling you all on the phone freaking out telling everyone to check out my new beautiful blog, but sense it is soo late I will wait until the morning. I love you all and am so happy that we have this wonderful tool to share our lives with each other. Keep in touch and KEEP Blogging!!!!! ps I also have that cute sign that says " Home is Heaven on Earth" Yes my blog is finally cute. Hugs and Kisses!!!

Hurry Home.

About a week ago I had to just get out of the house, no kids no Jake just me. You know that feeling when you need some fresh air and some adult conversation with no interruptions, yes you can say it, I was at that place where the walls were closing in around me, I hadn't left the house in at least two full days which really is a long time to be stuck in one place with just me and two little kids (don't know were Jake was). As soon as Jake walked in the door I had my purse in hand and was gone. I didn't know where I was going, but of course I had ended up at my mom and dads' house. I don't think I had been there even ten minutes when of course Jake called and said Cameron was screaming and you need to hurry home (my wonderful son who won't take a bottle or a Binky for anything was crying). And of course I had feed him really good before I had left, but for some reason or another he was just not that happy. I told Jake I was on my way. As I was coming home there is a STOP sign that I turn right at, well with the thought of my crying baby at home I guess I "PAUSED" instead of STOP, and then I saw it the red and blue flashing lights come rushing up behind me. I pulled over and the Officer approaches me we talk for a moment and that was it, he just told me to be safe and have a good night, but to make sure I come to a full STOP next time. I finally get home expecting to find a screaming baby in Jake's arms, but he is playing with Samantha so I run up to Cameron's crib, no baby and no crying. I ask Jake were Cameron is and he says... "look at the island in the kitchen". I walk over and I see my beautiful Son laying on top of the laundry sleeping like an angel, yes sleeping not crying. I think Jake made up the whole thing and he just wanted me to be home with him and the kids. We ended up having a great night playing Candy Land with Samantha and then Jake and I watched a movie, I truly feel so loved and blessed even if I don't get my alone time.

Once upon a dream...

There lived this adorable energetic PRINCESS named Samantha D. PRINCESS Samantha D was known and loved by all the kingdom. PRINCESS Samantha D loved to run, jump, fly, laugh, play, twirl, and explore. PRINCESS Samantha D had so much energy that there was a rumor going through the entire kingdom that she never rested and she made the King Jake and Queen D very tired and very exhausted. Well, one day Queen D had a wonderful idea, if she put PRINCESS Samantha D in her most beautiful gown and glass slippers and have her dance and twirl as much as she could, then maybe just maybe our wonderful PRINCESS would finally get the rest she needed. PRINCESS Samantha D did exactly what the Queen wanted her to do. She put on her gown and glass slippers and danced and twirled like no other PRINCESS in all the land ever has. While Queen D was taking care of the Duke, Cameron J the castle was getting quieter and quieter. Queen D didn't know what to think. And when she came in to check on PRINCESS Samantha D this is what she found...

Samanthas' 2nd Birthday!!

Knock, knock.
Who's there?
Sammie.
Sammie who?
Sammie is TWO that's who.
Samantha opening her gifts, and wearing the tutu Grandma Kay made her.

Wow!!! I can not believe that my sweet little angel girl is TWO. Samantha D Lawson turned the big two years old on January 9Th. She had such a fun day. Jake, Sammie, Cameron and I went to the Kangaroo Zoo (there will be more pictures of that adventure coming soon) during the day for her birthday activity and then that night we had the Grandparents and Great Grandma's over for dinner and cake and ice-cream. Samantha had the most wonderful day. She got some really cute things including a couple of dance skirts a tutu made by Grandma Kay as well as gymnastics lessons from Grandma Kay and some many other wonderful things from all those who love her.

I just want to take a moment and tell my sweet daughter just how much I love and appreciate her and that she is truly my angel girl. We are and will be forever best friends. Samantha, you are constantly making me laugh and you bring a smile to my face every time I look at you. I love you so much Samantha and can't wait to see what these next many wonderful years bring in your life. All my love mom.

A mothers reward.

I love being a mother. It truly is one of the most satisfying jobs you could ever have. I have two kids, Samantha an adorable energetic two year old and a 4 month old son Cameron who could coo your ear off. There are many wonderful things about being a mother. Cradling your baby for the first time. Putting a band-aid on a boo-boo, along with a kiss and a "your going to be alright". Those wake up calls, yes we might complain about getting up with your baby or toddler, but that really can be the most magical time a mother can spend with a child. No phone calls, no TV, just you and your angel. Peace. But the most magical reward a mother can get is when your baby for the first time throws there arms around you for no reason and says " love you mom". As a mother you are constantly giving. Giving your time your space and your unconditional love. And there truly is nothing better than when that little person you have been loving since the day you found out you were going to be a mother says "love you mom". When as a mother you have finally been given your reward, your pay check, your big bonus. What ever you may call it, but when your child has learned to love, that is what being a mother is all about. I love you to Samantha, and am so proud you are my daughter.
