I came across this post of my Logan, and this post, along with this one, oh and we can't forget this one, so HAPPY that I had written down these precious moments in time, these precious memories of my Logan.
Today, this weekend we made some more wonderful precious memories with Logan. Yesterday, his actual Birthday, Jake, the kids, Grandma Kay Lee and I took Logan out to breakfast at Granny Annie's in Kaysville. (Birthday breakfasts have become a fun tradition in the Lawson home, the kids know they get there OWN hot chocolate and a 'BIG' pancake). Where Grandma gave Logan a rock n roll Elmo, Elmo is Logan's favorite thing right now, he kisses Elmo, he talks to Elmo, if he drops Elmo he says "I sorry" he truly loves Elmo. Then we took Logan and the kids to Air Jump also in Kaysville, its an indoor trampoline place, with of course several trampolines of all kinds along with foam pits. Logan LOVED it.
Today we had the Lawson and the Coil family's over for Taco salad, caterpillar cake, ice cream, chocolate fondue and presents. (A huge thank you to my mom for the cake, and helping with the food along with LeeAnn for all your help, oh and to Aubrey for the chips) It was a wonderful get together with family and friends, talking, eating and sharing stories of Logan. I don't think Logan understands what a Birthday is, but her sure did love the gifts, cake and all the attention on him for a night.
Here are some pictures of Logan over the past two years.
Miss Her
Logan, there are so many wonderful memories that come flooding back to me as I look at these pictures and posts from the past two years. I love you so much and am so blessed to be your mother. You put a smile of my face each day, several times a day.
What I never want to forget about you at this age
~The way you LOVE touching your hair, my hair anyone that has hair when you are tired or sad. All I have to do is give your bink and then your hand goes strait up to your head.
~The way you protect, watch over and truly LOVE your Okee, you really will be her big brother the protector when she gets bigger.
~The way you call me Mama, and that you really are a Mama's boy.
~The way you talk, I mean growl.
~The fact that you really are so LOUD, but always so polite saying please and thank you way more than Sam and Cam.
What I also never ever want to forget is how truly Happy you are, the baby blessing dad gave you, blessing you to smile and to be happy is still shining down on you and our family today. You may be loud and a little bit of a screamer, but its a happy loud and happy screaming.
Happy, Happy Birthday my Logan, Love you More!
